A Quick 3 About the 4

The SOLJET® Pro 4 line has been extremely successful since the launch of the XR-640 in 2012 and the debut of the XF-640 earlier this year. This week, I’d like to get you up to speed with 3 quick updates about the Pro 4 line.

How precise is precise? … Are you having print quality issues with your XR-640? Seeing some graininess, mottling or orange peel? If so, it’s likely you need to perform a precise calibration. Precise calibration of the heads on the XR-640 is the single most important thing you can do to ensure that the device is dialed in and working optimally. So how precise is precise? Within a ¼ dot!

The writing is on the wall(flair)… A great application for the SOLJET Pro 4 is removable wall graphics. We’re proud to announce that three Roland products – Eco-Sol MAX® ink, Eco-Sol MAX® 2 ink and WallFlair™ Removable Fabric – have received GREENGUARD Gold 2818 Certification from UL Environment, a business unit of UL (Underwriters Laboratories). This certification, backed up by empirical scientific data compiled by an unbiased, third-party organization, provides assurance that these products meet some of the world’s most rigorous and comprehensive standards for low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into indoor air. Use this certification as an effective sales tool when promoting the Roland products mentioned above. Keep in mind that more and more architects, builders and interior designers are looking to use “greener” products, especially when it comes to schools and healthcare facilities.

A clean printer is a happy printer… Many print quality issues can lead back to not having a clean printer. Having a consistent cleaning schedule for your printer is one of the easiest ways to ensure print quality, maintain printer performance and help protect your investment. Be sure to register for the latest in a series of webinars on basic printer maintenance where we will cover the SOLJET Pro 4 XF-640. This webinar provides useful tips on implementing a daily cleaning schedule, cleaning the heads, captops and wipers, replacing consumables, and more.
